NEW CLUB COMMITMENT POLICY - Effective Sept 1, 2016 FOR FALL/WINTER CLUB SKATERS
Our club is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. Being a part of the OFSC means volunteering and participating in our club fundraisers. New this year, our club has incorporated a new "Club Commitment Policy". There are 3 aspects to this policy. All StarSkaters will be expected to participate in 2 club fundraisers and mandatory music playing throughout the year. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND AN EVENT OR MAKE YOUR SCHEDULED MUSIC DAY, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITYTO FIND SOMEONE TO FILL YOUR SPOT. If you do not participate in the 3 committments, a fee of $360.00 will be charged to you by March 1st. Failure to pay this fee will result in not being able to sign up for the upcoming season, or not being eligible for trying tests. Each SKATER (parent) must sign up for ONE BINGO per year, sign up for a TWO HOUR SHIFT for tag day in April, and attend 3-5 music playing duties. (NO BINGO CREDITS WILL BE GIVEN UNLESS A PARENT DOES MORE THAN ONE)
